The breakfast was really good with a wide variety, and the bar offered a nice atmosphere.

The location is only good if one has to do at the fairground, the walk to the tram stop is long. The rooms are big enough. The adaptation of a former "Eastern Block Hotel" well done
The towel rack in the bathroom was loose, the breakfast room is relatively small but you are made aware of the core hours in the lift. What rather disturbed me and others were the seats in the entrance area which were very draughty.

The hotel has no direct access to and from Pakplatz, toilet flue can only be operated with hereditary strength.

Breakfast was a marvelous spread with countless options, and the restaurant served mouthwatering dishes that were definitely worth the price. The gym was surprisingly good for burning off those decadent meals!

Liked large and perfect breakfasts.
Generally, the place was nicely renovated and had very caring staff at the reception desk and restaurant. The place had a good atmosphere. The location was unbeatable, within a close distance from Vida Science Amusement Center.

What a dissapointment! My room was outdated and had no tea or coffee- unacceptable. The air conditioning made horrid noises all night like some sort of tortured animal. I half expected a complimentary bottle of wine for my troubles, but alas, just another average hotel stay. I almost wrote a glowing review, but i just couldn't.

We enjoyed a spacious Beautiful Family Room, bothsuper clean and cozy for our teenage children. The breakfast spread was fantastic, offering a wide variety that thrilled everyone in our family. Plus, we found some cool sailing adventures nearby too!
In my wife's opinion, a larger dining area might be beneficial.

the view from the room over brno and the castle, absolutely phantastic. one should ask for a room on a higher floor with views, it is all worth it. bright and very large rooms and good beds and bathrooms. balcony. english, german and russian tv-programmes. good mini-bar and not too expensive. the whole hotel is excellent value for money. 2 restaurants and a bar. superior wild mushroom soup in the czech restaurant. restaurant staff is very friendly and speak good english. very nice lobby (70's style staircase and lighting). very friendly restaurant staff. generous breakfast buffet with a wide selection of foods and drinks.
the staff at reception do not all speak english. they are not friendly and do not smile. the atmosphere at reception is quite frosty, a bit like in communist times. this stands in stark contrast to the very friendly service in the czech restaurant. the czech restaurant is unfortunately not always open, so that guests have not always the full option of food. the bar was only open in the evening.staff there are a bit sleepy and do not notice the guests immediately. they are glued to the icehockey on the telly. they do not speak english. this is, however, a general problem in brno.

The room was spacy and comfortable.
Only 1 person at the reception in the morning when everybody is checking out - you can imagine the queue and the time it takes to check out. Also, the guy "managing" the car park reminded me of the times gone long time ago: "currently no spaces available, there is unguarded car park at the back which you also have to pay for but if you give me 100 CZK, you can park in front of the hotel :). Aircondition is so loud that you have to switch it off to be able to get some sleep.
